Celebrated photographer, David Dodds, has had his work feature prominently and to great acclaim in both local and international media. He is a visual genius; a photographic artist. But among the work of which David is proudest are his photographs of the Royal Residences at Thanda Royal Zulu: the majestic open stands upon which new family heritage is shortly to be built.

For David, the photographs are the start of a showcase of views: “I have tried to capture each of the views that the Royal Residents will have, keeping in mind that – amidst the total darkness of the glorious African bush – the lights of one’s own homestead are all that the eye can see. This absolute seclusion, complemented by top security and even Royal patronage, is heavenly.”
