Zulu princess befriends the Queen of Talk
Princess Nandi Zulu and Oprah Whinfrey June 2008, Napa Valley, California, USA The king of charity wine auctions, Auction Napa Valley 2008 (otherwise known as the ‘American Wine Classic’) recently provided the backdrop for the acquaintance of two famous ‘royals’. On the fairway at Meadowood Resort, Princess Nandi Zulu, the global face of Thanda Royal Residences and daughter of His Majesty King Goodwill Zwelithini kaBhekuzulu, met Oprah Winfrey, the global queen of talk and television. Princess Nandi attended the Auction in conjunction with an auction lot offered by Lokoya and Thanda Private Game Reserve. Combining a jewel of Napa’s mountain vineyards with the gems of Zulu culture, rare wildlife, romance and exclusivity, the lot included an all-inclusive five-night safari at the five-star Thanda Private Game Reserve in South Africa, as well as dinner with the Princess and her father, King of Zululand. Both the Princess and her father have reason to celebrate and to be proud of the luxury estate they endorse and represent, as the 34-home Thanda Royal Residence enclave was recently granted official approval by the KwaZulu-Natal Tribunal, in line with the Development Facilitations Act. Notes: Only 34 Thanda Royal Residences are available for purchase as family Royal Residences on the ancient land of His Majesty, King Zwelithini Goodwill kaBhekuzulu.
