Pierre Delvaux, Petter Barve and His Majesty, King Zwelithini Goodwill kaBhekuzulu

Petter enjoyed an audience with His Majesty, King Zwelithini Goodwill kaBhekuzulu, and bore witness to the Royal Opening Speech with which His Majesty launched the Star School Project, innovated by the Thanda Foundation. The Star School is an effort by Thanda to promote entrepreneurship; prevent and treat HIV/Aids; and encourage community participation in conservation and eco-tourism ventures.

Both Thanda and Yellowstone are rare havens in which contemporary enchantment meets the glories of history. Both make accessible the texture of a rare and untouched space, the richness of the earth, and the possibility to infuse one’s family with these gifts. And both offer the opportunity to become one of an exclusive number of Members worldwide.

Petter Barve is the Membership Director of the renowned Yellowstone Club, the world’s only private ski and golf community located in Big Sky, Montana, USA, and positioned globally as the place ‘where families gather’. On a recent tour of Southern Africa, hosted by Leading Africa, Petter came to understand why – despite differences on the surface – his Yellowstone Club and Thanda Royal Zulu enjoy profound similarities.
